Blooming Creativity and Budding Talent: A Look at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Government College's Intra-College Poster Competition

 The air in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Government College buzzed with creative energy today, May 7th, 2025, as the Seminar Committee and the Department of Botany successfully organized their highly anticipated Intra-College Poster Competition. Students from various departments enthusiastically participated, transforming the college corridors into a vibrant gallery of visual expressions. The event served as a fantastic platform for students to showcase their artistic talents, critical thinking, and understanding of environmental issues as the topic was "Our Power, Our Planet".

While the Department of Botany undoubtedly displayed impressive talent, the spotlight shone brightly on the remarkable performance of the fourth-semester students from the Department of Anthropology. In the slogan competition, Priyambda Samanta Ray, a fourth-semester student of Anthropology, captivated the judges with her insightful and impactful slogan, earning her the well-deserved second prize. Her ability to articulate complex ideas concisely and creatively through words demonstrated a unique talent that transcended disciplinary boundaries.

Adding to the accolades for the Anthropology department, Sneha Utthasini, also from the fourth semester, secured the second prize in the poster competition itself.
